Private tutor in Berlin, Germany

Education

Up until this year I worked as a hospital pharmacist in a Central London trust. I'm currently in the later phase of a PhD at Imperial College London, focussing on clinical and practical techniques to improving patient safety, in collaboration with the Department of Health and NHS England. I also currently work as a teacher practitioner at King's College London, educating and developing professional and clinical skills for healthcare undergraduates, which has been incredibly rewarding and ensures I'm fully up to date with clinical expertise in my field. Being a qualified pharmacist gives me an advantage in terms of focussing learning on the most important aspects of practice. I'm also a keen musician, having played insturments and sung for a number of years.

Experience

My experience in tutoring extends all the way back to 2006, with one to one sessions for GCSE and A Level students looking to achieve the best they can for university and their future careers. Additionally I can offer help and advice in formulating a great UCAS application for similar courses. I have successfully applied to medical school previously, and I'm therefore experienced in UKCAT and GMAT exams as well.

Hobbies

I primarily focus my sessions on the student's ability in the subject and aim to keep in line with the curriculum they're learning at school. My main focus is in keeping the student engaged in the topics I teach, which is a lot easier seeing as i actually love science myself! I've gained experience in education for students with Specific Learning Difficulties (SpLD) and can provide some assistance in this if required as well. My aims for each session are to make learning enjoyable and memorable, and efficient to suit the grueling schedules most students have.
