Hi! Thanks for taking a look to see if perhaps I might be a good fit as your tutor. I hope I am! Why I think I might be able to help? I've been tutoring college admissions and writing for over five years, and one of my favourite things is brainstorming essays and creating a plan for how to approach the admissions process. I also love to help with creative and scholastic writing, working on application essays for any kind of program, and figuring out how to find a student's voice. I love working with students and getting to know each individual, so that I can help you grow in the ways you feel you most need. It's exciting to me to help someone achieve their goals and grow into themselves. I have extensive experience tutoring College Application/Admissions, English as a Second Language, SAT Critical Reading and Writing, , German, Creative and Essay Writing, Chemistry, Pre-calculus, and Algebra. The students I have worked with have been accepted to Harvard, Princeton, NYU, Stanford, and many other schools. Most importantly, when working in admissions, I try to help students figure out the path and school that is good for them, rather than simply choosing to apply for the top five schools. In addition to tutoring professionally, I also work as a writer and director. My work is largely at the intersection of the arts and education! I'm fluent in both German and English and really enjoy working with students to help them achieve their goals, whether they be creative, college oriented, or scholastic. I'm looking forward to getting to know you and to work with you towards whatever you're hoping to achieve! More hobbies: yoga, journaling, going to museums, cooking elaborate meals for more people than are in my kitchen, bringing friends together, visiting new and strange places, finding ways to connect meaningfully with the people in my neighbourhood.
