Education
Upon completion of my PhD in Cognitive Neuroscience at University College London in 2014, I trained and worked as Data Scientist. Prior to this I obtained two MSc degrees in Brain and Mind Sciences, awarded by University College London, Ecole Normale Supérieure and Université Pierre et Marie Curie in Paris in 2010. I also hold a BSc (Hons) in Life Sciences from University College Maastricht in 2008, which is a liberal arts and science programme, where I picked a focus on: Molecular Life Sciences, Psychology, Neurosciences, Research Methods and Statistics. Next to my science undergrad, I was also enrolled in a part-time visual arts programme, where I trained in drawing and painting.
Experience
During my Phd at University College London, I designed and led tutorials for Psychology undergrad as well as Neuroscience grad students. I also evaluated and marked their coursework. In addition, I provided supervision and support, while students solved programming problems in class. Furthermore, I put together a teaching portfolio (available on request), as part of the professional development programme offered by University College London. My work as teaching assistant in higher education is HEA accredited (as known in UK). Prior to teaching at university, I have many years of experience tutoring high school students.
